Support Anthony's Fight Against Cancer

Help Anthony (Bird) Fight Cancer and Support His Family.

Hello everyone! I am creating this GoFundMe to help my dear friend Anthony, more affectionately known as Bird to those closest to him.

When I met Anthony over 15 years ago in college, he was a young man with big dreams in a small town. We quickly became friends, and now he's someone I call family. For some crazy reason, I always wanted a brother growing up, but God saw fit to make me wait for one. Made me wait 26 years to be exact. But it was well worth the wait to be called Sissy.

As his big Sissy, I feel it is absolutely my job to do whatever I can to look out for him, protect him, and be a voice for him when he needs me to. And right now is one of those times.

Anthony is a loving single parent and has recently been diagnosed with Langerhans cell histiocytosis, a rare form of cancer. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy, which has left him unable to work. Though he is receiving short-term disability benefits, they unfortunately do not cover his living expenses, making it difficult for him to provide for his family during this challenging time.

We are raising funds to help Anthony cover medical bills, daily expenses, and provide stability for his family while he focuses on his treatment and recovery.
