Help Joe Beat Cancer
Donation protected
This March, our dear friend Joe Malone was diagnosed with tonsillar cancer. He will undergo two months of intensive radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Despite these challenges, Joe looks forward to starting treatment and staying healthy for his loving family - his wife Pam and three sons, Brendan, James, and Nolan.
Thankfully, the prognosis is good. However, the financial burden is significant. Joe will be receiving radiation treatment (and sometimes chemo) every morning before going to work downtown. However, patients who have undergone treatment have noted it is very intense and work may not be possible at times due to side effects.
Many friends and neighbors have asked how they can help. By contributing to Joe's GoFundMe, you can help alleviate the financial burdens associated with his treatment. No matter what the amount, your generous donation can make a difference.
In the spirit of giving back, any unused funds will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and MIB Agents Organization (a pediatric osteosarcoma nonprofit). While the cancer that Joe has is one with a good treatment plan, he supports organizations researching cures for children with cancer and in supporting them and their families throughout their treatment.
Thank you for your support and generosity. Please spread the word, and we appreciate your kindness and positive thoughts.
Sincerely,
Jill, Nejra, Bettina, Tatiana, and Vivian
