Michelle’s fight against cancer

Hi my name is Autumn, I am Michelle’s daughter. I have started this fundraiser in hopes to take some stress off of my mama, who many may know. She recently went to the ER with severe pain in her abdomen and her back, extreme discomfort in her legs, along side other symptoms that she hadn’t experienced before. After tests, exams and CT’s that’s when the doctor told her there was an abnormal growth detected, which they then biopsied. Michelle is 49 years old and was just diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. After MRI’s and a PT scan it is more advanced than they originally thought - spreading to nearby and distant lymph nodes. Anyone who knows her knows what type of person she is: whether she’s at home, in public or at work. SELFLESS is the first word I will use to describe her, followed by genuine, beautiful in side and out, caring, loving, patient and so strong. She has never met a stranger! She puts her ALL into her family, friends and her two grand-babies - that means she never has a day off. She’s always put herself last and made sure we were all taken care of first, now it’s our turn to make sure she is taken care of. These donations will go towards medical bills/mortgage/food and other bills that need to be covered as she will now be out of work during these times and as she starts Chemotherapy. As my brother and I were growing up, we can remember all the times she refused to go in to a doctor, not because she was worried or ever scared but she didn’t want to spend the money on doctors bills when she had a family to feed, cloth and take care of. One of the first comments she made to my dad after receiving such devastating news and needing to see a specialist was “Dave this sounds expensive.” As we can all imagine, she has enough going on; I want her to focus on resting, healing and fighting this! Not the financial part; because she is worth millions. Any donations are extremely appreciated by myself and will be appreciated by both, my mom and my dad.
