About a month ago, Mary had brain surgery to remove a tumor. Though we were all scared, she pulled through her surgery beautifully and was having a great recovery until about 3 weeks ago, she started having seizures and had to be out in an induced coma. She was at St Joseph Mission Hospital for 2 weeks and then on October 16th we were finally able to transfer her back to City of Hope where she is recovering and slowly getting stronger everyday. It has been an extremely stressful experience, not just emotionally just also financially; the medical bills are starting to come in along with many other bills.
