Lisa's Fight with Breast Cancer

Feb. 5 2025: Hello, I wanted to share an update about my mom, as she asked us to post to keep family and friends updated. On January 14th, she was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of triple negative breast cancer. The type is so rare that it is only seen in 1% of all forms of breast cancer. My family met with the oncology surgeon the next day to discuss the immediate steps. On January 16th, she had a lumpectomy (removal of the tumor) and port placement (to administer chemotherapy). My warrior of a mother began her 6 month chemotherapy journey starting today and is ready to fight.
