Meet Kevin Juma, he is in his final year of a nursing degree, unfortunately the previous years have not been easy, as he has faced setbacks of deferments and financial struggles. While he did not get to graduate with his original classmates, he continues to persevere, trusting God and his community to fulfill his dreams to be a nurse. Money raised here will go directly to him and fund his schooling, food, and travel to/from college.

In his own words...

By the grace of God, I have been able to come a long way in my academic journey, despite many hardships. I am now at the point where my academic records are being reviewed in preparation for the release of my transcripts and certification.

During this review of my academic records, it was identified that there is an outstanding fee balance relating to an academic year I was required to repeat. This situation arose when, near the end of that academic year, I became seriously unwell and had to step out of school for health reasons. After treatment and recovery, I returned to continue my studies. In accordance with institutional policy, I was required to repeat that year, and the fees for that year were charged again.

Although I successfully completed the repeated year and progressed with my course, the fees for that year remain unpaid. This balance must be fully cleared for the institution to release my official transcripts and certificates. Without these documents, I am unable to take the next steps in my professional journey.

I share this humbly and in faith, trusting that God, who has brought me this far, will make a way to complete this final step. I am deeply grateful to every donor who has stood with me, prayed for me, and supported me through this journey. Your kindness has not been in vain, and it continues to give me strength and hope as I work toward completing what God has already started in my life.

My name is Eric Fose and I have known Kevin for 2.5 years and learned of his heart to help others and have seen his own faith strengthened in the process. He believes that nursing would be a great way to love and help others. Kevin has been helped by many along this journey and he is not selfish in his gains, as he turns and shares what he can to help fellow students in a bind.

I am not the focus of this story nor benefitting from the results of this campaign, this all goes to Kevin and his future in nursing. The sum is precise and anything over will go to his travels to the college, food and perhaps a better apartment closer to the college.
