KJ’s College Fund

We are friends and loved ones of Jim, KJ, and Karla. On June 4, 2023, we lost our beloved Jim McNamee, leaving behind his partner, Karla, and their son, KJ. He will be dearly missed by Jim's father, sister, and many extended family members, colleagues, and friends.

Always quick with a witty remark and those famous baby blues, Jim made an impression on everyone he met. His love of the mountains, palm trees, and music was unmatched. Some of his passions were talking Eagles football with his dad, jamming out to loud music with KJ on the way to school (especially Foo Fighters and Tool!), and cooking delicious meals for all. Jim was an adoring father to KJ, a dedicated partner to Karla, and a true friend to many.

It is with profound loss and immeasurable love for the family that we ask you to support KJ's education by donating to this college fund. Whether he joins Coach Prime to cheer on Jim's alma mater, the University of Colorado at Boulder, his more recent joy of rooting for the Buckeyes at The Ohio State University, or may he choose his own path, we want to give KJ the future he deserves by investing in his education.
