Paula Garcia & Her Family Need your Support!

Howdy Everyone,

As some of you may already know 2023 was a real struggle for my mom and our family. My name is Jessica and I'm the eldest kid of my mother Paula, who was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Central Nervous System Lymphoma in the Spring of 2023. A lot of people know Paula for the work she does caretaking her mother and sister, working as a substitute teacher, or for advocating around the community. I know my mother best as a devoted Mother of six with a passion for learning and science. So when the news of her diagnosis came we were devastated, but incredibly lucky that the whole family came together to support her. Through a whole summer of intensive in hospital treatments and a few complications, Paula entered remission in the Fall but is still recovering from the effects. We are hoping that the community can come together and help my family get back on their feet after a year of missing work, and unexpected medical costs. Anything you can do will help!
