Help Blue Walk Again!

Stew and his beloved dog, Blue, have shared an incredible journey since Stew re homed Blue years ago. Their connection is truly special—Blue isn't just a pet; he's Stew's companion, friend, and family. They have enjoyed countless walks and adventures, making the most of every day.

Recently, their world was turned upside down when Blue received a devastating diagnosis: cancer in his paw. To save Blue's life, he needed to have the paw removed.

The wonderful news is that the South West RSPCA stepped in and generously paid for the crucial surgery! He is eternally grateful for their support in ensuring Blue's life was saved.

Why He Needs Your Help Now?

While the surgery was a success, Stew and Blue are now facing spiralling costs for the critical next steps in Blue's recovery and rehabilitation:

* Ongoing Treatment: Blue requires follow-up care, medication, and essential post-operative veterinary treatment.

* A New Paw (Prosthetic): To give Blue the best quality of life and allow him to enjoy their walks again, he desperately needs a custom-fitted prosthetic paw. This new paw is essential for his long-term mobility and comfort.

* Loss of Income: Stew is self-employed, and because he is Blue's primary caregiver, he has had to stop working completely to look after Blue during this intensive recovery period. This has made it incredibly difficult to manage the unexpected medical bills.

Stew’s Goal: Getting Blue Back on All Four Paws

Stew is trying to raise £1,100 to specifically cover the cost of Blue's new prosthetic paw.

Every single pound raised will go directly towards:

* Custom Prosthetic Paw.

* Ongoing veterinary bills and necessary recovery supplies.

A Promise of Giving Back

Stew wants to make a promise to everyone who helps: If we are fortunate enough to raise more money than is needed for Blue's treatment and prosthetic, Stew will donate 100% of the surplus funds directly back to the RSPCA South West, to help them save other animals like Blue.
