Oakley’s Open Heart Surgery

EDIT/UPDATE: hey guys, I’ve had a few people tell me to reshare our gofundme me so I’m just doing an update.

currently, Oakley is in the process of having some final tests done to create a plan for her 3rd open heart surgery. These tests mean we have to travel to Brisbane again, meaning more time off of work. With the loss of my partner and Oakley’s dad a few months back means that we have now become a 1 income family. It’s been a tough year for everyone and christmas is around the corner so I’m not expecting anyone to donate. But if you’re in the position to do so, it’s so appreciated from me and my little family more than you’ll ever know.

Oakley is being put to sleep to have a cardiac catheter procedure and a CT scan on the 4th of December and we are awaiting a surgery date. It’s likely to be the following week but this could change, depending on urgency and availability.

Shes the toughest, sassiest little warrior I know, but her fight is no where near over.

Hey guys, my name’s Jess. My beautiful 3 year old daughter Oakley was recently diagnosed with a very rare congenital heart defect called anomalous left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) and needs urgent open heart surgery in Brisbane in the next few weeks (12th October).

We were not prepared for this heartbreaking news and this has left us in financial crisis. We understand the cost of living at the moment and know a lot of people are doing it tough so we appreciate any donation of any size.

Donations are going towards the cost of travel, accomodation and other living expenses for our family with 4 beautiful children who have just had our world turned upside down.
