Support for James
Donation protected
James Dyck, a young pilot from Blue Creek, Belize, was in a motorbike accident on Monday, August 5, 2019. He and his friend, Steven, were on their way to work, driving a motorbike, when another motorbike driver crashed into them from the back. At only 26 years old, James received life-threatening brain injuries and is fighting for his life in the ICU. The doctors can not confirm a recovery as of yet, nor can they guarantee survival, but we know that our God is great with love, mercy, and healing power and has promised his children abundant blessings. His parents, Jake & Justina; his wife, Laura; and all James’ family and friends, spread out over at least 5 countries, have been holding tight to their faith in the Lord and been praying for a full recovery for James. We praise God that He is in control, and we entrust James’ life and recovery into His hands. James has now had one brain surgery and has been in the ICU for about 5 days, showing a little more brain activity each day. The doctors expect James could take at least a few more weeks to recover. As of today, August 10, 2019, we have used about $100,000 in medical bills. We expect the bills could easily reach up to $300,000. We also don’t expect James to be able to work for a while, the length of time is still unknown. For those of you who would like to show your support through financial aid, you can use this Go Fund Me page to transfer the money to James and Laura. Any amount is VERY greatly appreciated. We ask that you would kindly support us through prayer as this is a very difficult time for James’ wife, parents, family, and friends. We pray that God will bless you for your support. You can find updates about James and praise/prayer requests on the Blue Creek EMMC Facebook page daily. Thank you!
