Hello! This is The Kizuna Project by Hayakawa Atlanta.

Founded by Atsushi Hayakawa, Owner and Chef of the Michelin Rated and globally acclaimed Restaurant Hayakawa, the Kizuna Project has been active for 15 years.

Hayakawa has always taken a hands-approach to humanitarian efforts.

Stating "Just donating is not enough, I want to take things into my own hands", Hayakawa has always taken physically direct approaches to humanitarian work.

Your contribution will not be going into the void, you can follow along and physically see how your help is making a direct difference.

The inaugural Kizuna Project was for the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, where Hayakawa raised funding and physically went to East Japan to provide aid.

Following this event, the Kizuna Team had delivered to projects in 2020 to aid Workers at the Emory Hospitals in Atlanta for the COVID19 Pandemic and in 2025 to Sarasota, Florida and Asheville, North Carolina following the destruction from Hurricane Helene and related Floods.

Now for 2026, we are raising funds for the 2026 Kizuna Project - The Kumamoto Earthquake of July 28th, 2026.
