Many of you that have been a part of the Davis Cards & Games community remember our green budgie bird mascot Kiwi, who we had to give up to a better home. That new home has been with our beloved friend and long time employee, Ashley, who took amazing care of her. Sadly, Kiwi fell very ill very suddenly last week and passed on far too early in her life. Ashley bared the brunt of a $3000 veterinarian emergency room visit only to have poor Kiwi die just a few hours after returning home.

We're asking to help our friend recoup some of the money she spent to try and save Kiwi and help make a tragic situation have less harmful long term ramifications for her. We thank our community and friends and family of our store in advance for any amount that you can give to help her.
