Kitty’s Lip Avulsion Surgery

10 days ago, a sweet injured kitten knocked on our door for help. He literally came to our front door and meowed for help. He was in pretty bad shape. He arrived with a broken tail, wounds on his little face and a lip avulsion injury. He’s been seen by my vet and his tail has healed. The wounds to his face are healing nicely after he was given an antibiotic. However, his poor lip won’t heal without surgery. The vet explained that his lip was pulled away from his face leaving his lower gums exposed. This is consistent with vehicular trauma. I believe this little baby is worth saving.
