Hi my name is Kat, I’m a vet assistant at Summer Hill Village Vet, raising funds for the vet care of a much loved carpark kitty, KittyJack, who has been looked after his whole life by the wonderful neighbours in my unit block at Summer Hill.

KittyJack needed an urgent canine extraction, fluids for dehydration as he hadn’t been eating, blood tests including an FIV test, medical boarding, and antibiotics. He’ll need further extractions soon.

KittyJack is the sweetest little cat, always ready with a chirpy greeting and wanting a pet and food.

On the night of 7th of May, a neighbour saw him dripping blood. I was able to have a look at him and saw it wasn’t a wound, but severe dental issues causing bleeding and excessive salivation. He was clearly in a lot of pain, unable to eat properly, even tho his primary carer was making him soup and soft foods.

I’ve ta him to my work to be assessed, he’s being looked after, but the vet treatment and procedures needed will be expensive, even with a rescue price generously applied.

Any donations will go directly to Summer Hill Village Vet to pay for his care.

Itemised invoices will be added as his treatment continues, for proof of care and direction of funds.
