Kittyglyph Studios Needs a Computer!

Hello! My name is Kitty, and I'm an aspiring video game developer! The goal is to create detailed 3D worlds that fully immerse the player; however, this kind of game is extremely heavy on graphics, and on top of being held together by Gorilla Glue and a prayer, my current laptop is simply not powerful enough to do anything beyond having one or two small models open in Blender at once without overheating and slowing to a crawl.

The concept for my first ever game has me excited, and I'd love to make real progress on development, but my computer is seriously holding me back. The $2000 goal will cover a mid-range laptop that will more than suffice for games, and in the unlikely event this number is exceeded the extra will go towards other hardware and classes/courses that will help me grow as an artist.
