Kittle’s Treatment

Donation protected
Hi All,

My name is Marina and my poor sweet puppy Kittle is having some extremely complicated health issues. We have spent all savings and maxed-out credit cards on a CT scan, two ultrasound-guided aspirations, overnight hospital care, IV fluids, extensive blood work/tests, and treatment/drugs to reach this point and to my heartbreak are struggling to find funds to continue to a hopeful diagnosis. Originally being told it was lymphoma, his doctors are now leaning toward an unknown bacterial infection, fungal infection, autoimmune disorder, or combination of the three.

Kittle is the sweetest, most lovely dog I have ever had the pleasure to get to know. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and everyone that meets him comments on how beautiful he is as he goes in for a face kiss. I quite literally can not imagine my life without him, he is my whole world and makes days far more fulfilling and enjoyable. He is the ultimate good boy. I just want to see my sweet man jump and play and be happy again. Thank you immensely to everyone who has donated, reached out, and provided support to us during the last week. The one good thing that has come from this is discovering the incredible kindness of strangers and those we hold dearly in our lives. For a more in-depth look at Kittle’s story please see the updates section of this page.

I’m not one to ask for help at all – even on my worst of days, but that’s what I’m here to do, asking anyone out there that has the means to please send whatever they can (no matter how small) so he can get the treatment he needs. If anyone is hesitant to donate online I can provide any paperwork or proof needed of his testing and treatment thus far. So far, the cost of Kittle’s care has been $9,057.40, much of which could have been covered if I had purchased a medical insurance policy for Kittle when he was healthy. If you are reading this now and have a pet, please learn from my mistake and get your pet signed up for a policy! While the stress of illness on its own is overwhelming, you should not ever have to sacrifice your best friend's well-being due to finances. Kittle is 15 months old and was perfectly healthy just over 2 weeks ago, you never know how quickly things can change due to unexpected illness or injury.

Thank you very much for your time,
Marina
