Kitten survives fall from 10th story balcony

My name is Sarah and I’m a proud mom of a fearless 11 week old kitten named Julio. We live on the 10th floor of our apartment building and while I have my balcony lined with chicken wire so he can’t slip out under the railing, he’s been getting more adventurous than ever. Friday afternoon we were informed by a neighbor that our baby kitten had just fallen from our balcony. With no idea how he got over railing and no time to question we ran down and grabbed him and flew to the closest animal hospital. He experienced massive head trauma with four skull fractures, a broken femur, and two fractured hips. Thanks to the amazing staff at Blue Pearl, our little guy is going to make it through. As excited as we are, we’re not out of the woods yet. We have quite a few surgeries ahead of us and good deal of rehab. We’re asking for your help to get Julio the medical treatment he needs.
