This is the story we want to share about Pastor John Albert and Victory Children's Home. In May of 2017, when his pastor friends asked for help with the thousands of children orphaned by the civil wars in Myanmar, he said he could find homes for 5 boys; 25 showed up. Six months later, 29 girls arrived. The building John had built for a Bible college became the girls dorm and common area. The only other building on this acre of land is now the boys dorm and the kitchen. Ranging in age from 4 t o 17, these kids are always concerned about their next meal since they lived without for so long. They grow vegetables, raise pigs and get by with a lot of rice. They are making due with very little. No oven; no hot plates. Just rice cookers and electricity that is cut off when it rains. Pastor John and his four staff have created a family for these children who love and care for each other, yet there are many needs. For this campaign, we are focusing on raising funds for a proper kitchen. Whatever you can manage to give will help these kids. It is important to note that 100% of your contribution will go directly to Victory Children's Home.
