Kitchen Equiptment for Saint City Catering

Guillermo, Niki, and their two daughters, Benecia and Georgia, have become pillars of joy and great food for the Lowertown community for the last 4 years. They've been committed to not only showing up and feeding the community no matter what, but also to becoming friends with everyone who walks through the doors of Creators Cup Coffeehouse. These are some of the most hard working people we know, yet they always make time to hold space for people who need a friend. During the lockdowns throughout the past couple of years, they still came in and made bag lunches for the community to pick up and be fed.

 

We could go on and on about how much we love this family!

And can you believe, that over all these years Guillermo has been pumping out beautiful meals from his classic Cali Hash, vegan tacos and salads, all the way to fancy Rib plates, and everything inbetween all on a single burner...? It's a one man show back in the kitchen. One man, one burner! While Niki sings to her homemade muffins in the mini oven, glazing her homemade carrot cakes with cashew frosting, and coming up with new treats every week to fit the variety of dietary needs and restrictions.

 

We want to support them as a community by raising money to go towards a propper stove, a new fridge (to replace the current broken one), and whatever other kitchen equiptment they need. Cooking and baking are an art form, and equiptment and food is the medium. They deserve to have materials that are at their level of expertise and devotion. Not to mention, the entire community will benefit from these upgrades as it will allow for quicker service and a smoother flow in the kitchen.

 

 

The goal is to raise $5,000 and the REAL goal is to exceed that goal ;)
