Computer & Grad School Supplies

I was accepted as a part-time graduate student for the online Disability Studies program at CUNY SPS starting fall 2017. While I have made great progress so far academically, my computer- a used PC laptop given to me when I was facing homelessness and having no way to continue looking for work/keeping up with writing and game development skills- is slowly going on its way out and will not last me the rest of the program, especially as my focus is on disability, accessibility, and user experience design. As great as the laptop has been, Adobe Creative Cloud is still a resource hog, and so on.

I have thankfully been able to put most of my savings towards a new computer. However, due to sales taxes, adapters, and needing essential software for graduate studies and my work in UX, I am trying to raise funds for the remainder.

I hope to promote accessible design and more awareness of tech and information accessibility as I can: with my day job, freelance work, and my studies.
