My name is Kit Burton. As some of you might know, I have done activism work directly with the city and continue to support and do mutual aid as much as I can. Over the past few days, I have suffered a concussion, due to falling down a flight of stairs as well as falling pretty badly at my place of work. Because of how much time I have taken off due to being sick this month as well as needing to take time off to recover from said concussion, I cannot afford rent, my medical bills or groceries for this month.

Unfortunately this isn’t my first time. Almost a year ago when I left my job I was in a similar situation, little funds and no way to pay off the stacking medical bills I was given. It was everyone who shared, everyone who donated, that brought me to a place of stability back then.

It would mean the world if people share this as far as they can. This community has given me so much already and I feel grateful to know people support each other here more than any other place I have lived in.
