Who we are:

Montefiore/Einstein students, residents and faculty, involved in Albert Einstein School of Medicine's partnership with Kisoro District Hospital(KDH) in Uganda

Why we need your help:

For the last 15 years, students, residents, and faculty from Einstein/Montefiore, and more recently Zucker/Northwell have:
- Designed and run community health programs in Kisoro
- Staffed the internal medicine ward at KDH
- Supported the purchase of essential medicines and supplies.

COVID19 has:
- Put some of the funding we traditionally rely on in jeopardy
- Imposed additional costs to the program: purchase of PPE, equipment and supplies

Our experience in Uganda made us the clinicians we are today. 
Please help keep the program alive for future generations of physicians, and for the people of Kisoro!
