Kirsten Needs Our Support
Hi, my name is Debbie and I am fund raising for my daughter, Kirsten Crone.
My daughter lives in Arizona and as we have come to find out, Arizona offers absolutely no paid maternity leave.
My Daughter will be raising our Granddaughter as a single mother and while she hopes to be home for 12-weeks with her new born, she will not have any way to support herself or her baby girl without income. I'm reaching out and asking that anyone who would like to help Kirsten during this time to please donate on her GoFundMe page. Rather than sending baby gifts, this will give Kirsten the support she'll desperately need while she's home navigating first time motherhood.

When you think of becoming a parent, I don’t think anyone dreams of going at it alone. It is a dream that most people share with their
husband, wife, or partner. I always thought I would be married before expecting a baby. In my 20’s, I didn’t think I wanted a child, it just
wasn’t something I could see in my future, and it wasn’t high on my list of priorities. Around 29 is when I really started to think I may
change my mind. At 31, I started to have the ever so familiar, ticking clock feeling. When I found out I was pregnant with my baby girl,
I never once doubted that I wanted her. I was not scared, nervous or upset in any way. I thought Id feel differently being single, and that
fact just makes raising a baby, so much more difficult. Not once though.
I have decided to do this on my own. Because I can. Because she will be born into a world where she will know her mother wanted her and wished for her. Single motherhood will be difficult and challenging and tiresome but my entire life is about to change for the better.
My whole life’s happiness is about to be wrapped up in another human being, and I cannot wait to meet this particular little human.
