Kirsten Needs Our Help: A Long Road to Healing

On the evening of August 4th, life changed in an instant for our dear friend and co-worker Kirsten Powell. While driving down Blue Mound road, Kirsten was unexpectedly hit head-on in a devastating collision. By the grace of God, she survived without internal injuries--but her ankle and foot were badly injured.

Kirsten has endured a broken ankle(both the body and head) and underwent a major surgery on August 12th to repair the damage with plates and screws. She now faces a long road to recovery. Doctors have told her she must remain completely off her feet for the next two months, followed by weeks of physical therapy. This means Kirsten will be unable to work for the next 3-4 months.

Anyone who knows Kirsten knows she is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back and drop everything to help you. She is caring, selfless, and always the first to show up when someone else is in need. Now it's our turn to show up for her.

We are raising funds to help cover living expenses, medical costs, and day to day needs while Kirsten is unable to work. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and will help ease the heavy burden this accident has placed on her.
