Hi, my name is Kirsten Trimble.

 

So I’ve been tossing back and forth with the idea of confirming the rumors…after suffering in silence with close family and friends, I cannot wait any longer. My brain tumor (Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4) has grown back after almost 11 years. I am very blessed as I know I am a rare case.

 

What I want to do is curse the world, curl up into the fetal position and cry. However, realizing that won't get me anywhere is the reason I continue to fight.

 

In the last nearly 11 years, I have graduated with my degree from California State University of Northridge in Social Science education, started working at a high school as a Behavioral Interventionist and I work with disabled adults as a second job.

 

Asking for help has never been my strongest area of expertise…I’m asking now.

 

My surgery is scheduled for June 1st, 2022. My neurosurgeon feels comfortable with allowing me to work until my school year is over.

 

I will use the funds raised to pay medical expenses, copays, prescriptions, checkups, rent (as I will not be able to work for the time being), and basic living expenses.
