Kirk Thomas, Founder of Outdoors Without Limits was left paralyzed from the waist down in 1992 when a tree fell and severed his spinal cord. Since his accident he has had multiple surgeries and hospital stays. He has overcome obstacles and boundaries to be able to enjoy the outdoors and has been providing outdoor opportunities for others with disabilities. He has dedicated his life in helping people for over 26 years overcome some of the same obstacles he faced. Over this time he has helped thousands of people across the country to be able to enjoy the great outdoors. Kirk, would never ask for help or want anything in return for his dedication.
In January 2020 he went in for the most extensive procedure, a spinal stenosis and has faced some medical issues since then and has been in and out of the hospital to recover. The insurance has covered some but now Kirk and his wife Doris are faced with  the cost that the insurance has not covered.  I am sure now at this time people would want to help him if given a chance to do so.
