Kirk & Shari Skadden Lost Home to Eaton Fire
Donation protected

Hi everyone, my name is Angie and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friends and coworkers, Kirk and Shari Skadden.
Kirk and Shari lost their home in the horrific Eaton Fire that ravaged their beloved community of Altadena. With no time to lose, they raced to safety with their cat and little more than the clothes on their backs. Thankfully they are safe but their home of 24 years along with everything in it was destroyed.
Thankfully they are staying with friends while they figure out the next steps but any support we could send their way would be incredibly meaningful as they begin the painstaking journey of putting the pieces back together and navigating the choppy waters of displacement.
To know Kirk and Shari is to love them. The world is truly a better place because these two big hearted people exist. They are deeply devoted to their friends, families, coworkers, clients, and community. They embody the phrase ‘above and beyond’ in the way they so selflessly and tenderly care for each and every person they interact with.
Kirk and Shari have collectively worked in the film industry for over 55 years and have spent decades tirelessly spinning magic behind the scenes to bring the seemingly impossible into the realm of possibility at a moment’s notice for generations of set decorators and property masters. It would mean everything if the film community and anyone else with the ability to help could do the same for these incredibly deserving people.
