Kirk Benson Hollywood Bowl Memorial Plaque

UPDATE: The plaque in the Hollywood Bowl is in Section M3, Row 12, Seat 2

FINAL UPDATE: We've contributed the donations to Friends of the Phil for the Hollywood Bowl bench plaque ($5,500) and the University of Nebraska Foundation for the Memorial Stadium donor wall ($5,000). We had an additional $2,380 donated by Kirk's generous family, friends and colleagues, and have split those donations between the two organizations ($1,190 each) in Kirk's name.

We are no longer accepting monetary donations, but if you'd like to memorialize Kirk, please contribute a story about him or any photos to the google mail address thebookofkirk. We will be accepting submissions in the next couple of months and will send copies of the completed book to all who contribute.

At the Hollywood Bowl, you'll find Kirk Allen Benson's name in Section M3, Row 12, Seat 2. At Memorial Stadium, his name will be on the North Stadium Lobby donor wall where the Nebraska National Championship and Heisman trophies are on display.
