KIRK AKA (BIG REDS) COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER

My Name is ASH but this is this isnt about me, today i have started a fund raiser to help a fantastic father, partner and friend after an extraordinary event which will change his life and with this gofundme we can ensure at the very least his finances and living costs for him and his family are covered.

Kirk is a barber and an online creator located in north devon he has a passion for people, hair and beards however on the 16th of july,

He had an aortic dissection. Basically blood leaking in to a layer of the artery that it shouldnt and if it ruptured fully it would be a zero chance of survival. the fact he even survived this ordeal is nothing short of a miracle.

He was rushed to a bigger hospital, one of five in the country that can do the op. he had a 9 hour operation and They've replaced part of his artery. He's been in the ICU since Wednesday the 16th and still going to be there for a few more days before he goes onto a normal ward. It can be around 3 - 4 months before hes fully recovered with a lot of rehabilitation and physio.

Baby steps at the moment and each day as it comes. Hes self employed so is off work at least for three months and his partner nicola is by his side also not working to support him, look after the kids and help with his recovery.

with this in mind their bills will still keep coming each month and this is were we as a community can do something great so donate what you can and help where you can.

if you know kirk through his work or through his friendship you will know hes the most loyal, nice and genuine person you would come across, a big teddy bear with a beard of legendary status but a heart of gold.
