‘Kiri and The Dead Girl’ is based on the experiences of Tlingit artist and Pow Wow dancer Kiri Geen who reclaimed her heritage after her adoption. **winner of a Canada Council for the Arts grant** It is being filmed as a fairytale Sept 2020 with: Cinematographer Stirling Bancroft (Monkey Beach/The Good Doctor) Production Design by Margot Ready (The Magicians, Tomorrowland, BFG) Costume Design by Carmen Thompson (Red Snow) Produced by Kiri Geen and Christopher Logan (Moonchildren Films) and Ken Shapkin (Kadence Productions) Starring Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica/The Dollhouse), Barbara Patrick (Arrow) and it is the directorial debut of Grace Dove (The Revenant). We are seeking funding for post-production, securing music and submissions to festivals that truly fit the film. #Sundance
