I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to share that my dad, Kirby Dempster (LT Dempster with the Fergus County Sheriff’s Department), was recently diagnosed with cancer. As our family begins this unexpected and difficult journey, we are doing everything we can to support him emotionally, physically, and financially.

Anyone who knows my dad knows how strong, kind, and selfless he is. Whether he is on or off duty, he is always there for family and friends without hesitation and puts others first. Now, he needs our help.

Unfortunately, cancer treatment is not only grueling — it's incredibly expensive. Despite insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for doctor visits, hospital stays, medications, procedures, travel, and time away from work are quickly adding up.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden so that my dad can focus fully on what matters most: healing and fighting this disease. Every dollar raised will go directly toward his medical expenses and supportive care.
