Kirby-Maris Family Fund
Newlyweds Bonnie & Nick have lost everything in the wild fire that destroyed their home on
September 8th. We are trying to raise
money to help them recover their lives. We know we can't replace their memories but hopefully we can help them back on their
feet.
Hello Everyone!
I have created this GoFundMe to support the Kirby-Maris Family.
Bonnie and Nick, and their sons Jonah (19) and Jacob (17) are from Ashland, OR.
There have been a lot of wild fires down there recently. With the wind storms, and the incredibly dry fields a fire started not far from their home. It spread quickly over their property giving them no time to gather any belongings. They had to evacuate with their dog and the clothes on their back. They lost their property, their belongings, their wallets, and two of their four vehicles. Their pet teacup pigs, Lilly and Petunia have yet to be found, (they were out in the pasture while this all happened and they had no time to find them). They only had time to grab their dog Koba, open the pig pasture gate, get their car keys and evacuate. They had a beautiful property, an amazing farm house, adorable piglets and the biggest and most beautiful garden you've ever seen. I'm reaching out to the community to see if we can help get them back on their feet. Jonah and Jacob are both in school. One is in college, and one is in high school...all of their school supplies were lost in the fire. Bonnie also works from home, all of her work computers and equipment were lost as well. Nick is a musician, all of his musical equipment was lost as well. There are so many things that were lost in this tragic accident. To start from scratch as a family is going to be a hard and expensive task. I'm their niece and I'm located in the Vancouver WA area. If anyone has any extra school supplies, or household items that they'd like to donate, I would be more then happy to come and pick it up from anywhere in the Vancouver WA area. I'll be making trips in the coming weeks to go down there and bring down donated goods. Anything helps. Please contact me if you have any local items for pickup. Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this, I know times are tough these days and it's been a crazy year. If you can spare anything to help this family, it would make a world of difference. UPDATE! THE PIGS HAVE BEEN FOUND❤️
Thank you so much.
