Kirby Medical Assistance Fund

Donation protected
On March 15, 2017, Jeremy Kirby, known as Kirby to his friends, a Staff Sergeant in our Army National Guard, suffered a traumatic assault when he was struck hard in the back and face with a blunt object. While his prognosis is good, surgery was required to repair bones in his cheek, eye socket and jaw. The limitations of his insurance coverage and lost time from work at Camp Mabry in Austin means that this beautiful family with five minors ages 17, 14, 8, 7, and 2 needs help with not only medical expenses (with current co-pays already reaching $10,000+), but also with rent, utilities, and general living expenses. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Your tax-deductible donations are being administered by San Gabriel UU Fellowship in Georgetown through their Ministerial Discretionary Fund.
