Hello CJUSD family and more,

We are reaching out on behalf of our friend, Kira Jennings. As many of you know, Kira recently received a cancer diagnosis. At 39 years old and in good health, she was shocked by the news and is working through her next steps.

As you all know, Kira is the kind of friend and colleague who goes above and beyond for so many personally and professionally. From supporting Oak Hill site needs as our school secretary, to our district needs as our C&I staff secretary to the needs of our students as a volunteer with the Center Boosters, Oak Hill's PTA and Site Council to her work with the Antelope Little League...the list goes on and on.

Of course, the first things we asked were ...How can we help? What can we do? And at this time she's really not sure. The only thing that is certain is that she is under a high deductible insurance plan and could use financial support to meet her deductible.

If you are wondering how you can help and what you can do, consider making a donation - however big or small - to the Go Fund Me that we have created to help with her medical expenses.

We will continue to reach out with different ways to support as the Jennings' needs change. For now, let's wrap our arms around Kira and her family. Lets lift them up with support and love.
