KIPP journey to Costa Rica (AMIGOS)

Hi friends, family, teachers and supporters. We are 5 scholarly students who attend KIPP NYC College Prep High School located in the South Bronx.  

At school, we were selected to participate in a 4 week international community service trip called Amigos De Las Americas in Costa Rica!  In Costa Rica, we will stay with a host family and emerge ourselves in a different culture. In our time there, we will learn about their community and participate in daily projects. On top of that we will put our Spanish speaking skills to the test! 

Coming from New York, we are exposed to many cultures but it's rare that students like us get to travel around the world. This experience will broaden our horizons and hopefully encourage others to travel the world and see life outside of the Bronx, Harlem, Queens and Brooklyn. 

As a team, we need to raise $7,500.  Our families are going to contribute but they cannot pay all this money which is why we ask for your genourous donation.  Your contribution will help us cover our program expenses. We kindly ask that you donate to our cause and please, please, please spread the world. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We really appreciate your help!
