Today marks one week that my family's life has changed forever. One trip to the store to buy a coffee pot turned into my Uncle having a massive heart attack in the car while my Aunt was driving. She did everything she was told to to and ultimately ended up saving his life. There have been so many ups and downs during this past week. We've gone from life support to heavy sedation to him starting to improve and then having to move hospitals and re sedation. It's been a constant roller coaster. Something of course, that was never expected to happen. Watching my family be in so much pain and such heartache is so hard..........But, life goes on whether you like it or not. Everyone is going to end up having to go back to work to try and make ends meet, while worrying about his condition. Right now his bodily functions are good. It's mainly now the lack of oxygen to his brain for almost 30 minutes. We are currently concerned about his brain function. Every time we start to see improvement, there's another set back and have to start over again. He ended up having to change hospitals due to insurance. He ended up having to be sedated again. There have been so many ups and downs. We will never give up hope. It's going to be a long hard road. We have started this campaign to try and give them some piece of mind that the knowledge of how many people care and want to help will ultimately help them. The money of course is a major concern. Just knowing that there is some extra money set back to help at any time needed will give a huge piece of mind. Whether it be a donation of $5.00 to whatever can be afforded. Just prayers and positive energy and happy thoughts being sent their way will help their piece of mind. Watching my family go through this horrible tragedy just breaks my heart. It's one of the hardest things to sit back and watch. We all feel so helpless right now. We are hoping that this campaign will give them the strength they need to move on with their lives. Not something that will be short term. Eventually the progress in every day will help, but that's not there yet bc of all the set backs. Uplifting words of support are so welcome right now. Being added to prayer lists brings a lot of piece also.
He is one of the most kind hearted people I have ever known. He would do anything to help anyone else. It's time now to let others help him. And hopefully this fund will help the rest of his family. Piece of mind is everything when it comes to situations like this. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and appreciate everything and anything anyone can give, do or say.
