Support the Kinston Police Department K9 Program
The Friends of the Kinston Police Department is proud to support the dedicated K9 officers and their handlers who serve and protect our community every day.
Our K9s are more than just police dogs. They are loyal partners, trusted members of our department, and an important part of keeping our community safe.
Right now, one of those loyal partners needs our support.
K9 Kilo has been a familiar face throughout Kinston and a wonderful representative of the Kinston Police Department. From demonstrations at schools and nursing homes to community events, Kilo has helped build relationships between our officers and the people they serve.
Recently, while participating in a demonstration for Community Helpers Week at Contentnea-Savannah School, Kilo suffered a serious leg injury that required surgery. His recovery is expected to take at least 12 weeks.
Kilo has spent his career serving our community, and now it's our turn to show him some love.
The Friends of the Kinston Police Department has established this GoFundMe to help support Kilo's recovery and the continued needs of the Kinston Police Department's K9 Program.
Donations will help provide veterinary care, medical expenses, specialized equipment, training, and other resources needed to keep our four-legged officers healthy, safe, and ready to serve.
This fundraiser isn't just about helping Kilo. It's about supporting the entire K9 program and ensuring these incredible dogs have the care and resources they deserve.
Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference. Your generosity will help ease the financial burden associated with caring for our K9s while strengthening a program that plays an important role in our community.
If you're unable to donate, we completely understand. Simply sharing this fundraiser is another wonderful way to show your support.
On behalf of the Friends of the Kinston Police Department, thank you for supporting Kilo, his fellow K9s, their handlers, and the department.
