A few weeks ago, Brittney received a call from the school nurse letting her know that her daughter Kinsley was in the clinic suffering from back pain. It was determined after several tests that Kinsley has two Myxopapillary ependymomas on her spine.
Ependymomas are considered cancer however, they they tend not to spread to other parts of the body (thankfully) but can recur and require extensive treatment. This will be Kinsley's third surgery to remove this type of tumor, and following the procedure she will undergo a series of radiation treatments for 6 weeks in Baltimore.
This GoFundMe will help the McCormack family with medical expenses/copays as well as gas to/from her radiation treatments. Any and every donation is greatly appreciated and we ask that you send the family prayers and positive thoughts over the next several weeks.
