Kinsley, was welcomed with love on December 26, 2013. She joined her excited big brother Hayden, sisters Skylar, Maeve, and Fallon. The family was complete as they looked forward to a bright future.
Their joy was short lived when at 2 months old Kinsley turned blue and had the first of many surgeries to come. With that began their journey into the world of loving and caring for a child with complex medical needs.
Spending a third of her life in the hospital, separated from her dad and siblings two states away brings many challenges, but they stay strong and persevere. With the love and support of their family, friends, and community they try and provide the best they can for their family.
Kinsley has had over 50 operations/procedures, coded blue 5 times, and most recently spent time in ICU for septic shock and was placed on a ventilator. Despite the efforts of doctors across America they are still no closer to a diagnosis or a cure. They believe she is one of a kind and defies all science and medicine.
Kinsley inspires us everyday with her strength and sense of humor. She touches the heart of every person she meets. Each day is a gift and we are blessed!
We are raising money for a handicap accessible vehicle, which would change this very deserving family's life. As Kinsley grows up, it has become more difficult to transport her around, with a handicap accessible vehicle not only will it become easier for the family but safer and more comfortable for Kinsley!
