Kinship Plot Garden Apprenticeships (2025)

The Kinship Plot Garden Apprenticeship program exists to pass on knowledge, gardening skills, and a vision for land-based community development to the next generation.

This summer, we are delighted to welcome two apprentices who will co-labor and learn with us for twelve weeks about land stewardship, creation care, food sovereignty, and environmental justice.

We are committed to paying our apprentices well for their eight hours of work every week. Kinship Plot has already committed to pay half of their stipends, but we are asking their help and yours to raise the other half. By donating to this cause, you are directly investing in next generation of earthkeepers as well as the Kinship Plot gardens, which last year benefited numerous neighbors with healthy produce and joyful community.

Alongside Kinship Plot's matching contributions, this is what your gift could cover:

Gifts of $22 cover both apprentices for an hour.

Gifts of $90 cover one apprentice for a week.

Gifts of $180 cover both apprentices for a week.

Gifts of $1250 cover one apprentice for the entire summer.
