Kinship Community Pantomime
We need your help!!!
Each year More than Grandparents independent charity 1173253 perform a community pantomime. Our kinship children are involved in it's creation right from the start. From sharing ideas and planning, writing the script, deciding on songs, designing costumes and the scenery and then performing. Most of our children are neurodiverse and really struggle with confidence and self esteem and yet they shine when we are performing.
Sadly this year we have not reached our funding goal and the pantomime is at risk of not going ahead and we absolutely do not want to disappoint the children who are extremely excited to perform again for their local community and had already began sharing their ambitious ideas.
We have managed to raise £2500 but we need to raise considerably more to help with the costs of a script writer who professionally pulls the children's ideas together, a director who helps the children with stage direction and presence, a musical coordinator who pulls the songs together and of course costumes, art materials for scenery and room hire.
Please help us to make this happen and donate what you can to our Panto.
More information about More than Grandparents: More than Grandparents supports kinship families. This is when a child is removed from their birth parents, usually because of abuse or neglect and placed with a relative, usually the grandparents for safeguarding. We provide a range of activities aimed at supporting the children and their carers to enable better care and build positive relationships.
