It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of KinMalin Ou on December 13th, 2025. She was a devoted mother of 11 children and part of a close-knit family of six siblings, including herself. She was the heart of our family, always happy, singing and dancing, and bringing so much light into our lives. Even after surviving unimaginable hardship—coming from Cambodia and living through a genocide—she remained one of the most resilient and loving people I’ve ever known. Her mother is still with us, and their bond was a source of strength for everyone.
She loved to cook and always had the best recipes, filling our home with delicious food and laughter. She was incredibly photogenic and loved posting her selfies, capturing her joy and sharing it with friends and family. Dressing up, putting on makeup, listening to music, and especially dancing were some of her favorite things, and she especially cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. She loved them more than anything. Her kindness and generosity knew no limits; she was always willing to share the last of what she had with anyone who needed it. Her heart was truly the biggest, and she deserved to live a longer life filled with happiness and love. She spent her last moments with her children and family.
We are raising funds to help cover the costs of her funeral and memorial arrangements. Any support you can offer will be deeply appreciated by our family as we honor her memory and give her the farewell she deserves. Any donation amount will help and not a penny will go unnoticed. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time. Sincerely, the family of KinMalin Ou.
