Hi, I am Shannon Thompson, and I'm fundraising for the Kingston Junior Knights Sledge Hockey Team. This incredible team brings children with disabilities together, giving them the chance to experience the joy, camaraderie, and empowerment that only hockey can provide.

As the late Mr Dave Baldwin championed, we believe hockey is for everyBODY.

For these young athletes, playing hockey isn’t just about sports, it’s about building confidence, fostering belonging, and breaking barriers. However, with limited resources and the high costs of our equipment and ice time, the team depends on the support of our community to continue their mission.

This year, we’re aiming to raise $15,000 to provide more sleds, sticks, ice time and cover tournament fees. Every dollar raised goes directly to ensuring these kids have the opportunity to play, grow, and feel included.
