Kingsbury Primary School vs Yorkshire 3 Peaks!

Hi,

A group of staff members from Kingsbury Primary School are hiking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 23rd July to raise some funds which will help us to have the best learning environment possible for our amazing students!

The 3 Peaks will take around 12 hours to complete and we will be covering a distance of 24 miles with an overall ascent of 1381 meters or 4531ft!

We will be starting at Horton-in-Ribblesdale to climb Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. We will experience different terrains such as fields, rocks, and uneven surfaces!

We hope the weather is kind to us!

We will also be doing a 9 mile walk on 31st May around Parbold, The Beacon and Appley Bridge, for those who can't make the walk with us in July and also as a training exercise.
