We started Maccabi movement in 2013 and Kings Bay Y is participating in its fouth set of games this year, bringing the record amount of kids this time. Games will take place in Albany in August 2017. This year we are participating in three sports, basketball, soccer and swimming.
Our basketball guys won bronze medals in 2014 and in 2016, and our swimmers last year won 3 gold 5 silver medals.
We will need to fund things such as:
- Gym time.
- Basketballs and backpacks.
- Transportation, lodging, travel expenses.
- Team Competition gear (uniforms, practice gear, etc)
- Athlete insurance.
- Miscelannious (registration and membership fees).
We will need to have those funds by end of August 2017.
