Hello! My name is Kat and I'd like to introduce you to an amazing cat, named King Richard, and his family.
King is a ridiculously handsome cat with too many toes who lives with his mom, Vanessa, and his aunt, Teresa, as well as his feline and canine siblings.
Unfortunately, King is very sick. A few days ago, Vanessa and Teresa saw a drastic change in his personality - he was hissing and growling at them, which he had never done before. They realized that something was very wrong, and they suspected he was in pain. They took him to the emergency vet, where they discovered that King had a serious urinary blockage. This condition can be fatal, so they are very thankful they took him to the vet when they did.

Currently, their estimated bill stands at about $3,000. They have been able to use Care Credit to pay the current bills, but are going to need help paying off the credit card and any future bills.
I don't think Vanessa and Teresa would ever ask for others to donate money on their own, but trust me, if anyone is deserving of help, these women are. Vanessa just took a new job in a hospital, which in normal times is a stressful job, but is even more so during these chaotic times. Teresa is a dedicated employee of a local animal shelter and works to save the lives of pets brought to the shelter, and help pet owners in the community with behavior issues of all kinds. Both Vanessa and Teresa are devoted to their pets and do everything they can to make sure they are living their best lives.
