Owners of "The Good Wives"' restaurant in Eau Claire, Ella and Ema are pursuing a new restaurant venture coming soon! Kingfisher will open early Spring 2026 in Durand, Wisconsin. The concept will be a traditional supper club with classic steak cuts alongside elevated salads and sides, pasta dishes, seafood and of course, the Friday Fish Fry. Leaning into the tradition of supper clubs customers can expect the same great quality as The Good Wives with scratch-made, wholesome ingredients.

Small businesses and family owned restaurants bring not only employment and income to our communities but character and charm as well. Your support allows us the capacity to finance start up costs such as buying initial inventory, training staff and equipment purchases.
