My name is Corey. For the past 15 years, I’ve been serving as a fly fishing guide in the area. The pure presence that a person receives when catching a fish is truly a remarkable thing to behold. Over the last few years, I’ve noticed a similar type of therapeutic healing can be obtained through river scenic floats as well. Recently, a couple of friends and I have been putting the puzzle pieces together for a ranch in Sweetwater, Co. We for-see it as a wellness center for children with autism and special needs families intertwined into a fly fishing guest ranch. We would like to incorporate float therapy, equine therapy, sound and light therapy, along with many other wellness methods for all guests. I’m so grateful to have been able to personally witness the incredible effects “float therapy “ has on many children with autism and special needs. Words are too limited to describe it accurately.
