Film Mission Statement:
There are over 900 streets in the USA that honor Dr. King’s legacy. His core message was equal representation, inclusion, peace, and prosperity. Yet on many MLK streets crime, poverty and hopelessness overwhelm residents. This film hopes to spark positive change.
King Blvd Short Film
In early 2019 our team created the KING BLVD "Short Film". This content was created to provide a visual example of the themes, humor and heart of this idea. Once funding is secured for the KING BLVD Feature Film, many of the elements depicted in the short film will also be portrayed in the feature film.
Keep the Dream Alive:
As a young man growing up in Detroit, MI I noticed our MLK street didn't reflect the world-changing leader I learned about in school. The dark reality of the MLK street I saw didn't equal the light Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood for. Once I began to visit other places and research other cities throughout the USA, I realized this wasn't isolated to just Detroit. - Earl Hardy | Writer, Producer of King Blvd
THIS FILM details why MLK streets are floundering and how to save them.
THIS FILM will make you laugh as much as it will make you think.
THIS FILM costs money... we need your help!
We Humbly Ask Your Support to Produce the King Blvd Feature Film
Funds raised will be used to cover feature film production startup costs including, securing filming locations, casting, story-boarding, filming equipment, audio recording, editing, legal, marketing and so much more. We are truly appreciative of any support you can offer.
